class property

Yoyo everyone!

Just an update of our class property thus far:

1. ralph
2. frisbee (a.k.a. ralph's bed)
3. cushion seat of a broken swivel chair (a.k.a. delicate holder of ralph and his bed)
4. basketball

We used to have an arm rest/table of a broken LT chair, but it was returned to the place of finding. Most of the stuff here have been from shanghai: he found the LT chair and frisbee, while the basketball he has kindly donated and the cushion i don't know how it got here. Haha.

So, if you all wanna play frisbee or basketball (or revolve ralph or have anything to do with the cushion) you know you can come and find either me, shanghai, or bernard. All these clean stuff are kept in our "class locker" (yes apparently we do have one), the identity of which cannot be revealed as yet.

Anyways, if any of you folks have anything you picked up and/or would like to donate to the class, feel free to do so. Let's expand our possessions yo!

Hey friends,

Just disseminating ms wee's instructions, we are to discuss the following questions in lieu of the coming students' forum:

1. What are 5 things students could do to enhance the environment at RI(JC)?
2. What are 5 things teachers could do to enhance the environment at RI(JC)?
3. If students made the rules, students would not be allowed to ...(list 5 only) and students would be encouraged to .. (list 5 only)
4. What physical changes to the environment would facilitate a more caring and friendly community in RI(JC)? - be as specific as posisble
5. What would you like to see different?
6. What do you like currently and want to see continued / improved?
7. Do you think you have enough say, and if you don't, how to increase that say?

So, we need to send 8 students to represent our class' views in this forum (excluding the councillors, as they have to attend by default), which will be held this coming wednesday, 29 april, during assembly period. Ensure that the people who are nominated can attend.

Revolutionary Ralph

a.k.a. RALPHLESIAN

Yo, yo! We have a new classmate! Ok, he's (just to add one more boy in our 1:3 guy girl ratio class) not really what you'd call a classmate, but he's definitely our friend and class mascot!

Behold... Revolutionary Ralph... he's revolutionary.

On his own, Ralph is invisible. He is like invisible man, and requires observable matter cloaked around him to show himself. And today was the revolutionary day that revolutionary Ralph showed himself to us! He stood among us in the ISH during morning assembly, towering over all the J1s. He was there watching over beloved shanghai napping in the ISH. He was in the canteen laughing along with us during EN block. Ralph is truly our guardian.

So friends, do take time to get to know Ralph. Feel free to approach any of the founders, and they'd be glad to unravel to you some of the revolutionary tricks that Ralph can do.

Woohoo class outing was great!

Just a little update on the day:

People who went: 4 guys - Avinash, Shanghai, Sean and Mark. 9 girls - Stella Anne, Priscilla, Joon Ting, Hui Wen, Reshmi, Yuan Jun, Lyana, Avril, Adeline.

What we did: 12.45 - 1.30: Lunch at McDonald's! 1.45 - 4.30: Cycling/roller blading! 4.30 - 5.00: Chatting on breakwater! 5.00 - 5.45: Frisbee & Captain's Ball! 6.00 - 6.30: Ice cream/smoothie/cheese chips at New Zealand Natural!

Thanks to everyone who specially came down today, you've made our first class outing an enjoyable one! For those whom couldn't make it, another time alright? Photos and vids will be uploaded by shanghai and co. Haha!

HOW TO GET THERE:
Service 401 to East Coast Park Service Road (Sundays and Public Holidays only).
Services 16, 155, 196 to Marine Crescent or Marine Terrace and walk across the underpasses or overhead bridge.
Service 36 (from Changi International Airport) to City; alight at Carpark F3, outside Marine Parade
Services 16, 31, 36, 55, 76, 135, 155, 196, 197 and 853 to Marine Parade Road

In case you're not sure how to get there/where to meet, I suggest we go there together, meet at Bishan bus interchange (since it's near sch) at 11am to take 55 there.

we can cycle, picnic, fly kites, build sandcastles etc there, it's all up to our own imagination and creativity hahahaha
since we'll probably reach there around 12++, it's just in time for lunch!

bring along cash, sunblock, balls, kites, picnic mats if you want, cards, cameras, etc etc

ok that's all my research so far for now.
i'll post up more details if there's more.
